What is a Denture made from?
The base of a Denture can be made from Acrylic (plastic) or Chrome (metal). The teeth on the Denture are always made from a strong Acrylic and will be designed to mimic your real teeth in look and shade.
How do I know if a Denture is right for me?
Your Dentist will be able to discuss all options for replacing missing teeth at your appointment. A Denture may be suitable if you have large quantities of missing teeth or of the quality of your remaining teeth is poor. Underlying advanced gum disease and bone loss may also compromises your remaining teeth and their ability to support other options such as a bridge or implants.
